TOP 4 of our favorite wineries and vineyards in Ica
Hacienda Tacama is a place with great colonial architecture that shows a traditional coastal hacienda of Peru, it has a courtyard, a bell tower and a chapel where to date weddings are celebrated, in addition they also offer accommodation for visitors.
In the vineyards of this hacienda wine has been produced since the 1540s, being the oldest vineyard in South America. In this place you will feel out of time since it preserves its architecture very well and has a spectacular decoration, which adds an atmosphere of romanticism to the space.
A curious fact about this place is that in the past Hacienda Tacama was a monastery so some of its facilities have a pink color, the color that represented in some way the places of worship in colonial times.
At Hacienda Tacama you will find one of the best restaurants in Ica: El Tambo restaurant, which is characterized by its exquisite traditional dishes, the cost of the main dishes ranges from S/. 30 to 50 soles ( USD 9 to 17 dollars).
At Hacienda Tacama they offer tours, in English and Spanish, in which they explain the process of elaboration of wines, piscos and sparkling wines, from its harvest to its bottling, they also make tasting of its best wines and, on weekends they offer shows of Paso horses.

The Viñas Queirolo Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in Ica, it is located in the middle of a traditional vineyard of more than 500 hectares and when you stay in one of its luxury rooms you will live an unforgettable experience, where the protagonists are wine, pisco and fun. Its wines and pisco Queirolo are very popular in Peru for its exquisite and tradition.
The guests of the Hotel de Viñas Queirolo can take a free tour, in which they witness a demonstration of the winemaking process, make a tour of the facilities, where they can visit the structure of the wine and pisco cellar, still room, and enjoy a tasting of wine and pisco in the main viewpoint, where you can observe from above the entire expanse of the vineyard.
Although it is not possible to do tours of a few hours or a single day in this vineyard without staying at the hotel, I think this is a good option for travelers who enjoy the peace and tranquility of a luxury hotel but intimately related to the traditional wine production.
The Hotel Viñas Queirolo has play areas for children, 3 swimming pools, 2 bars, antique car museum, saddle museum and 2 restaurants that offer traditional Iqueño and Peruvian dishes.
