What to do in Balneario de Chacho in Paracas?
Being Paracas a city of sun, heat and beach is a symbol of fun and water sports, so here are some of the many options of activities that you can do near the Chaco Beach in Paracas:
- Enjoy the Balneario de Chaco, the waters of the beach of Balneario del Chaco are calm and serene so you can swim peacefully and, if you have not brought your own umbrella and chair, there you can rent it there for S/. 25 soles (USD 7 dollars) all day.
- Kayaking, this is a very popular sport in Balneario del Chaco, if you do not have the equipment there are companies that rent kayak boats for the amount of S/. 25 soles (USD 7 dollars) per person and the duration is 30 minutes, they also offer classes and kayak rides.
- Boat ride in the bay of Paracas, in this tour you are invited to tour the bay so you can enjoy and make sightings of guano birds in the area, the cost of the boat ride is S/. 20 soles (USD 5 dollars) per person and the duration time is 40 minutes.
- Jet ski, near Balneario del Chaco they rent jet skis for S/. 450 soles ( USD 120 dollars) for 1 hour, but if you are not an expert you can request a jet ski ride.
- Motor scooter, a cheaper option than the jet ski is the motor scooter, the cost is S/. 120 soles (USD 33 dollars) per hour, but if you are not an expert you can request a ride on a motor scooter with a guide.
- Picarón ride, consists of getting on an inflatable in the shape of a picarón (hoop) to be pulled by a jet ski at speed, the cost is S/. 25 soles (USD 5 dollars) per person and only for 10 minutes.
- Catamaran, you can embark on an adventure on the sea of Balneario del Chaco in a catamaran boat, the cost is S/. 40 soles (USD 10 dollars) per person and the duration is 40 minutes.
- Pedal boats, as the waters of Balneario del Chaco are calm, you can ride in pedal boats, the cost is S/. 15 soles (USD 4 dollars) per person and the duration time is 30 minutes.
- Banana ride, this is one of my favorite activities in Paracas and consists of getting on an inflatable boat in the shape of a banana and then being pulled by a speed boat, the cost is S/. 25 soles (USD 7 dollars) per person and the duration time is 30 to 40 minutes.
- Bicycle ride, you can ride all over Paracas and even go to the Paracas National Reserve by bicycle, the rental cost for the day is S/.35 soles (USD 8 dollars).
- ATVs and buggies, to feel the adrenaline on land you can rent ATVs or buggies, the cost is S/. 70 soles ( USD 20 dollars) and S/. 120 soles (USD 35 dollars) per person respectively. They also offer tours using these vehicles so you can visit the beaches of the Paracas National Reserve.
- Water park, near the Balneario they are offering a service of inflatable water park in the sea of Paracas, which is considered one of the most fun water sports of the moment. If you dare to go to the water park I recommend that you wear aqua shoes so you don’t slip easily, but if you don’t have them I suggest that you wear socks or stockings, in this activity you must have a good physical condition and all the desire to have fun. Not suitable for the fearful . The cost is S/. 50 soles ( USD 12 dollars) per person, 45 minutes and S/. 80 soles ( USD 22 dollars) per person, 90 minutes.
